MISSION DISPATCH BOARD

JENN BELL

Board Member

I am currently the Missions Pastor at Mill Creek Foursquare Church and I love being the bridge between missionaries/ministries and my church. I’ve been passionate about serving people in need and sharing the gospel since high school.

I graduated from Seattle Pacific University with a degree in Educational Ministries, and worked at Union Gospel Mission’s Women and Family Shelter as a case manager, then at Sea Mar in White Center as an administrative assistant. During those years my husband Dan and I volunteered at a homeless teen shelter, and I mostly did prostitution outreach.

Dan and I have been married for 27 years and have two adult sons. I became a stay at home mom until our boys were grown. And three young men in Uganda who are like sons.

I am so honored and humbled to join the Mission Dispatch board. Thank you so much for this opportunity

Tom and his wife Hannah have four great kids – Kendal, Abby, Sam, and Nash. The first letter of their first names spells out the word t-h-a-n-k-s, which describes his attitude about his family and serving the Lord – filled with thanksgiving.

STEVE SHELTON

President

It is an honor to be able to serve the administrative needs of missionaries around the world allowing them to focus on their service to people in the name of Jesus. I joined the Mission Dispatch board in 2018. As well, I continue to serve on the leadership team of Missions Fest Seattle and the finance committee for the Edmonds Center for the Arts. I’m also pleased to be in my 18th year of Bible Study Fellowship.

I’ve served on several boards in the recent past, including a favorite of mine—Kidstown International, The Edmonds Waterfront Center, the Snohomish County Public Facilities District, Breakthrough Partners, Crisis Connection, and I’ve been a member of several community task forces.

Prior to retiring, in my capacity as a Vice President in the Credit Division of Nordstrom, I served on several credit industry boards and cross-company working groups.

I’ve been blessed to be married for 50+ years to the love of my life, Leanne. She recently turned over her dance school (Barclay Shelton Dance Centre) to her protégés after more than 40 years of serving the Edmonds community.

Leanne and I have two married adult children and two grandchildren whom we pray for daily and love dearly.
