ABOUT
I am an artist, musician, and woodcarver. I came to Norway in October 2015 to work with YWAM Aalesund, as lecture staff. The base I'm at has a creative DTS (Discipleship Training School). We focus on teaching 7 tracks, 1. Photography, 2. Film, 3. Acting, 4. Barista, 5. Music, 6. Fine Art, 7. Dance. There are staff for teaching these tracks, two leaders for each group. Then we have lecture staff, my job, I sit in when the lectures are being taught. Once a week, I sit with a student for 1:1's, to speak with them about how the week is going for them. It's a good way for them to process what they are learning in the lectures. I also lead out reaches with other staff members. Our goal at YWAM is to raise up missionaries, for people to know God and make him known.
